Welcome to my Attempt at Blogging...

Now that I'm on my way to a destination that's been on my wish list for a while, I decided maybe it's time to share the experience. On my way literally, as I sit in the Red Carpet lounge at Washington Dulles Airport waiting for my flight to Frankfurt for my second connection and then on to Singapore. Nothing like procrastination, but now I have time to sit and actually get excited about this trip. Speaking of lists I can't wait to see "The Bucket List" with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman--I can't wait to see if they have any of the same things on their list as I do on mine.

We are on our way to Singapore to go on a cruise of course! Why this cruise? Well, I've been on a Singapore to Hong Kong Cruise in 2001 which was absolutely great but this one actually goes to Cambodia. A side trip to Angkor Wat--the whole reason for the trip! Actually there is one more reason we chose this cruise is that my husband wants to visit Hanoi, also on this itinerary. So, off we go, it should be a great adventure. We just have to remember not to wander away from the group (one of our specialties is ditching the group and catching up with them later)when touring the temples in Cambodia as there are still landmines, so we'll have to keep to the well traveled path--I think we'll bring up the rear...

Assuming I can download my pictures and get an internet connection, I hope to keep you updated on our latest great adventure.

Hello Denise,
I think that the trip was indeed a great adventure. We very much enjoyed meeting you and your husband Bob.
To everyone reading this blog, Denise is a great agent and will steer you in the proper direction for a fantastic vacation.
We did have a very unfortunate trip though with the Royal Caribbean cruise people.
The worst cruise ever.
Despite the awful ship, new and untrained crew, rude service, nearly drowning on their overloaded tenders, being locked out of quarters 9 times over a 5 day period, spending 14 hours at the purser’s desk, we met some wonderful people and had a great adventure despite Royal Caribbean.
I will recommend to everyone that this cruise is not worth the money.
I will also say that I will never cruise again with Royal Caribbean line and I have been cruising with them over 10 years now.
Check with Denise on a cruise line that will take you on a wonderful vacation, but avoid Royal Caribbean!
